Houston Christian University
Houston, TX, USA
Houston Christian University is a 4-year institution located on 100 acres of land just outside of its namesake town in Texas. The university promotes academic, spiritual, and academic excellence centered around their central confession “Jesus Christ is Lord,” so attendance at convocation is mandatory for graduation, but HCU welcomes all religions worldwide. The university is as welcoming as ever to students of different denominations and those who claim no faith. HCU’s liberal arts curriculum spans 9 colleges and schools, including an Honors College, and students can opt to take core classes in a Fastterm that earns 3 credits in 10 days.
