Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion is an institution of Reform Judaism and the oldest Jewish seminary in the United States. HUC-JIR hosts a number of academic training programs for rabbis, cantors, leaders in Jewish education, and Jewish nonprofit professionals. Every academic program includes a study abroad component such as a Year in Israel program and Israel Seminars. With four campuses across the United States and Israel, HUC-JIR is home to several museums of Jewish history and the Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives.
