What Students Are Saying
One down side to Haskell is Curtis Hall, the cafeteria. The food is disgusting. Unlike many colleges, Curtis has one choice of a main course. The positive to their terrifying food is that there is always soups and salads which are not too bad. Breakfast isn't too shabby either.
Brittany from Tulsa, OK
The food isn't always that great, but when you're broke and its free, who can complain? If you can afford to eat off campus there are TONS of places good for takeout or dining in.
Alexandria from Lawrence, KS
There is the Eagle's Nest where you can buy food during the week and there is Curtis Hall which is a cafeteria that serves everyday. They have their good days and their bad days but it's free (included in tuition) and we're in college! Food is food.
Mikailah from Lapwai, ID
The food is good, but the fact that a lot of the food here is greasy. The Dinning Room is big with lots of space . And there are a lot of drinks to choose from.
Javonne from Lawrence, KS
Everyone is friendly and respectful
Colton from Lawrence, KS
Food and dining is served in the center of the campus at Curtis Hall. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. Breakfast runs from 7:00am-9:00am, lunch 11:00am-1:00pm, and Dinner from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
Stewart from Chinle, AZ
though, the food is generally quite good if you don't like what is being served you have the option of jetting into town on the local transit bus (and as a haskell student your fare is reduced) to grab something from any of the many local eateries!
