In three sentences | Georgia Military College offers a productive enviroment within my hometown. The staff is always willing to help, and the classes are effective and precise. |
Tips for prospective students | Register for your classes as early as possible, and always keep in touch with the offices. They are there to help you, and it's your responsibility to make sure all deadlines are met. |
Academic Rigor | The courses offered are challenging, without becoming overwhelming. The quarter system can get the best of some students, but, if taken in doable doses, is extremely efficient in regards to completing courses in a timely manner. |
Dorm Life | I do not live in a dorm |
Food and Dining | there is alot of good eating around the GMC-warner robins campus! |

Am learning a lot | Yes; this junior college is accredited which means credits will transfer anyway. It is also ranked the #12 community college in the nation and so far it's living up to its hype. |
Am enjoying being here | Yes; the teachers will not pressure you to do the homework. You have full responsibility for your actions. The teachers will usually be there after class if you need them to help you. |
Bang for the buck | This is not a really expensive school. My total tuition was less than most colleges and if you have HOPE Scholarship, depending on your GPA, you should not have to pay that much. |
Tips for prospective students | This school has great schedules for students who work. 90% of the students at GMC have a job so the administrators will work with you about making out a schedule that fits you. |
Great for these types of students | Yes; this school is not too expensive, it promotes a safe environment, the office is friendly, and if you play your cards right, you can graduate with an associates degree early while also making money at your job. This school is a great first step to making it in the real world. |
