Fordham University
At Fordham, you’ll receive a rigorous, Jesuit education in one of the world’s greatest cities. Our students reflect the diversity of New York City, coming from across the U.S. and around the world. Students choose from more than 70 majors and minors in the liberal arts, STEM, and business, and they complete a rich core curriculum that spans literature, history, science, theology, philosophy, and the arts. At Fordham, we’re dedicated to educating the whole person, so our students are also involved outside of the classroom. With New York City as their launchpad, they complete internships, engage in research and service projects, compete on 21 men’s and women’s NCAA Division I teams, and participate in 200-plus student-run clubs, including more than a dozen club and intramural sports. Students choose from three undergraduate colleges—Fordham College at Rose Hill, Fordham College at Lincoln Center, and the Gabelli School of Business—across two New York City campuses, located in Manhattan and the Bronx.

Fordham doesn't seem to be the school that its students thought they were going to attend, but it is the school who's present students could never imagine going to school anywhere else. Fordham is often described by the mantra New York is my campus, Fordham is my schools, but in reality, New York City is our campus, and Fordham is our home.

Fordham is an academically competitive institution in the heart of New York, with a thorough and challenging core. That being said, there is a campus in the Bronx that allows for a traditional college atmosphere, and a campus at Lincoln Center in Manhattan; a block from Central Park and on the cusp of Hell's Kitchen. While Fordham holds its ground in terms of location and academics, it is expensive both on and off campus and has small class sizes, both of which demand a student with intellect and ambition to succeed.
