What Students Are Saying
Don't goof off, especially if you just got out of high school, college is a lot different. You are more responsible for yourself, most professors will not say anything to you if you do not turn in your work.
Kristina from Jacksonville, FL
This is a great school for first-time college students. If you happen to mess up, the faculty are more than willing to help out and try their best to give you advice. Most of the classes are very similar to high-school classes and due to the smaller class sizes, you get a lot more individual time with your professor to maximize learning.
Maureen from Jacksonville, FL

Before delving into your classes, make sure to look at the calendar of activities to map out how you want to set up your assignments for the week. This way, you will never be overwhelmed with your work and you can keep a good pace. Also, never be afraid to ask questions because the professors are helpful and there for you.

Courtney from Jacksonville, FL
Make sure you stay on top of your work because there will be a lot of it. The libraries are great places to study but there are also specific study rooms set aside if you need to be alone which really comes in handy when you're studying for a test. Finally, make sure you are getting to know your professors and fellow students, you never know when you're going to need a letter of recommendation or study partners.
