The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery is an academy dedicated to training licensed midwives in Gainesville. The Florida School features a 3-year Direct-Entry Midwifery program divided into Foundational Courses, Core Midwifery Courses, and Advanced Midwifery Topics. To supplement classroom instruction, the Florida School provides clinical experiences at birth centers and home birth clinics throughout the state.
