What Students Are Saying
Boredom is an option at Ferrum, it's what you make out of your experience. Join clubs and if there isn't a club you're interested in you can't go to student leadership and request to start a new club.
Anneleisse from Castle Rock, CO
Make sure you attend class, and ask questions if you need help.
Davian from Clinton, MD
You should always do your homework, even if you don't want to. Doing your homework will show the teacher that you're trying and it will help your grade as well. Don't come here to just party, nothing comes good out of parting 24/7, one in a while is OK as long as you're getting stuff done as well. Don't be lazy, get out and walk around the campus, get involved in activities. Get organized, you will have assignments due at different dates, so keep up with them and you'll be a star.
Michaela from Altavista, VA
You have to be dedicated to the campus if you really want to go there. A lot of my friends have failed out because they did not care. Bring rain boots and winter jackets because it gets rainy and cold. Keep focused on your education and get yourself out in the community.
Gabriella from Chesapeake, VA
Ferrum has excellent, hands on professors and instructors to get you to that degree and fully understand the information included.
Zachary from Scotland, MD
Get to know people on campus because they will help you out a lot.
