Located in the Gainesway Shopping Center, the College for Technical Education is a trade school in Lexington. CTE is home to six certification-granting vocational academic programs. To provide a hands-on learning experience, CTE also offers an apprenticeship in Cosmetology Instruction. Once every year, CTE’s Cosmetology department holds an annual Hair Show where students display original hair and makeup designs centered around a unifying theme.
