Part of the Graduate Theological Union, the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology is a Roman Catholic graduate school dedicated to preparing students for apostolic and academic vocations. Grounded in the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas, DSPT offers master’s degrees in Theology and Philosophy as well as a Concurrent Option in Master of Arts that combines the two degrees. As a Dominican institution, the DSPT curriculum includes texts from ancient Greek philosophers as well as Jewish and Muslim scholars. In addition to classroom space, the DSPT campus features The Blackfriars Gallery and Art Library to explore the connection between art and theology.
