Am learning a lot | The teachers work with you, if you need help, they give it to you. The classes are small and easy, and the work isn't as difficult as most would think. |
Am enjoying being here | I love the classes!! The kids are great, and the professors are all really awesome!! They are all interesting and fun and they keep you interested everyday. |
Bang for the buck | SO CHEAP! It's a great education, for about 1/5 of the price of a private college. |
Tips for prospective students | This is such a great college, there aren't as many students as most...the classes are small and personal...and everyone is friendly. If you go here, you save money, and time, and you will get a fantastic education. If you do your work, you can go really far here. |
Great for these types of students | This college is perfect for anyone! Get all your required transfer credits out of the way without paying insane tuition bills. |

Am learning a lot | The classes available are all the perfect amount of time - not too much learning crammed in all at once, but long enough to receive a fulfilling lesson in whichever subject you're taking. I've taken one, two, and three day a week classes, and I don't have a preference because they're all equally as rewarding and generally easy to keep up with. |
Am enjoying being here | The students and teachers are helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal for the most part. Readily available professors and other staff members. |
Bang for the buck | Columbia-Greene is part of the SUNY system, so the credits are widely transferable to all state schools and many other public and private institutions, both in- and out-of-state. It is so worth it to start out here because the classes are very inexpensive, while meeting SUNY guidelines. |
Tips for prospective students | Definitely consider online classes to free up your schedule. They are relatively easy and flexible. If you're worried about taking a class entirely online, hybrid classes are also a great option to consider. |
Great for these types of students | Students who aren't sure what career path they're interested in yet, students who want to save a significant amount of money for the first two years of college. |
