What Students Are Saying
the only disadvantage is due to budget cuts a lot of there classes have been canceled and they do not offer summer school.

This is where COS is a winner. For $20 a unit, you can't beat the price of an education that is equal to any education for the first two years of a 4 year university.

IM A VERY HAPPY PERSON IN SCHOOL AND AT WORK

It really isn't a horrible thing staying back a few more years and attending a community college in the town you live in to help either your parents who are supporting you or just to help yourself. You aren't a failure by not running off to a four year college. Trust me that was my dream, to get out of town and experience something new and exciting, meet new people, get involved within that new atmosphere, that new community. COS is the right choice to save money and further yourself in education. You might still see familiar faces but trust me you will meet a hand full of new people as well! COS is a great place in taking that next step into a new chapter of your life...COLLEGE!! The transition is easier and the instructors insist that you thrive and continue your studies after your two or three years of hard work is reaching its end with them. College is really what you make it no matter where you attend. Community college or a four year. For me standing on my own two feet and growing as a student and a person started off at COS and there isn't a doubt in my mind prospective students wouldn't feel the same.
