Tuition, Cost & Aid
Affordability and Cost
Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.
Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

What Students Are Saying
It's worth it, believe me.

School there has been increasing tuition but it is still cheaper than other school like SDSU and any UC school out there.

College is always expensive. But as long as you have some financial aid, you can probably get by fairly easily here. It's one of the cheaper schools to attend, even with rising tuition. I feel like I'm getting a quality education, especially in my chosen discipline (music).
The quarterly parking permits are about $130 as of the time of this writing, so they are fairly expensive, but a lot cheaper than buying a day pass for $8 every day you have classes.
Living off campus, the total cost of living/school combined (for me) is about $20,000, including rent, bills, etc.

The Recreation and Wellness (RAW) is pretty snazzy. It was added last year. It's a free gym for students. And there's Jamba Juice inside. I think if you utilized all that the school has to offer you could easily get your money's worth.
