averett is a great opportunity for any person. it's easy to adapt to and it's worth every bit you put into it. averett helps build the character of a person as well as the mind.

you have to want to be successful when entering college. it's not just about coming and having fun, your spending money to attend college so get all you can out of it.

find a group of friends and hang out with them. danville isn't a very big town so there isn't much to do. i found that i obtained fun through building relationships.

it is defiantly worth the money. the professor are so helpful. averett is defiantly full of support.

main hall at averett is known to be haunted but i'm not sure if that is reliable information.

there's something for everyone you just have to find it.

Averett University is an excellent school if you are looking for great teachers, interesting assignments, and a flexible schedule. Highly recommend Averett University for undergraduate studies.

Make a call and setup an appointment. AU will help you tremendously if you let them do their job by supplying the information they need in a timely manner. This school will bend over backwards to make you a success if you follow the directions and complete tasks to the best of your ability.

Science classes are no joke and you will spend a large amount of time learning useful skills. The liberal arts program and the teacher's school are beginning to receive national level attention so they are well respected with local employers. There is a lot of opportunity to ask professors for information outside of the standard textbook topics.

Dorms are older but well maintained. Nothing exceptional, nothing to scare you away.

Great value - much less expensive than the sticker price of $31K per year that the school advertises. Once again, be sure to call and setup an appointment with their student counselors -- you will save a ton of time and money.

Traditional and adult students will find Averett University to be a very positive experience. Transferring from the local community college is easy and you should not be worried about the process.

Although Danville gets a lot of bad press, the campus has lots of security and is very safe day and night. No reason to be concerned.

I love it here. It is a small school with a personal atmosphere. It is very easy to make friends and become involved in school functions.

We only have one fraternity. They look like they have a good time!

We have great security who actually speak to you and know most people by name.

All the teachers here are very kind and pleasant. When I visited, I felt very welcome. The campus is quite beautiful, also.

Don't worry so much about financial aid, as Averett hands out quite a large bulk of scholarships to its students, especially if that student is local to the area. And don't be afraid to call them if you have questions.

The one meal I have enjoyed there thus far was unique and enjoyable to my tastes.

Well, this is Danville.... it's hardly a grand city, but I suppose there are some things one could do... We have a movie theater, a decent variety of restaurants, Dan Daniel Park. There may be the occasional festival. And there is always the comfort of one's own home available. :)

There is a beautiful diversity of people at Averett, I have found. I'm sure anyone of any background could get on well there.

Averett University is constantly making alterations in order to make this school more comfortable and compatible for all. The professors are always willing to help and have flexible schedules in order to assist you. The biggest luxury at Averett University are its small lecture classes consisting of 20-30 students or less per classroom.

Averett University is a very good college, yet it is more expensive then a lot of others. Make sure to apply for scholarships early from as many websites or from the school itself as you can. It will make a huge difference.

I would recommend Averett University to all who have a determination to succeed. The professors will push you to do well as well as help you to do so.

I love the dorms here. There are only up to two people in each room. Single rooms are also available. All rooms have air conditioning and bountiful space for the number of residents in the room.

There is a huge variety of options to eat in the cafeteria. Since Averett University has a strict nutrition diet, there are plenty options for great, and healthy, eating.

There are several extra-curricular activities to take part in. Whether it be a sport such as football or soccer, or being a part of the Student Government association, there is a place for everyone to enjoy something fun!

Security on this campus is always on the job and quick to respond. This is a very secure campus and there are no worries to ponder because out Security is top-notch!
