What Students Are Saying

Taking your required classes at ACC is a great way to go. I haven't taken any classes regarding my major there, so I can't say how well that is. But The required classes are definitely worth it to take there.

Take guaranteed transfer courses! Look into where you would like to transfer as soon as possible as well because not all schools will accept these credits and the sooner you know where you are transferring, the sooner you will know which classes can transfer for your degree.
Carissa from Littleton, CO
Community college is the perfect place to figure out what you want your career path to be. Be smart and go to a community college for at least your general education credits, they're guaranteed to transfer, the classes are so much smaller, and you'll save quite a bit of money. Also, something I wish I knew in high school was that you can take community college classes while you're in high school. Ask your counselors about concurrent enrollment! You can take general transfer courses and get them out of the way before you even get to college!
Brittany from Lakewood, CO
Make sure you have a map and look at it BEFORE classes start. Be prepared to take lots of notes and have tons of homework for specific classes.
