Academy of Vocal Arts
With a campus building certified by the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places, the Academy of Vocal Arts is a music conservatory dedicated to training opera soloists. AVA’s 4-year opera curriculum culminates in artist diplomas for all students determined to be ready for professional singing careers. To supplement their training, all AVA students are cast in four to five fully-mounted operas throughout the year. All prospective students must pass an audition to join AVA’s cast of Resident Artists.
