Debbie Comerford Jasnoch
School Counselor/College Consultant
Antioch Community High School
Debbie Comerford Jasnoch is a high school counselor, private college consultant, and sometimes-community-college-professor, depending on the time of year. With over 20 years in a variety of educational roles at the middle school, high school, and college levels, Debbie’s passion lies in working with teens and young adults to help them formulate a plan for their educational and career goals. Her mission in her career is to help students fully understand their many options and overcome any obstacles in achieving their dreams.
As a first-generation college student herself, Debbie’s counseling and writing are guided by a desire to over-deliver for her students and readers, and answer the questions they may not have known to ask.
Debbie earned a BS in Elementary & Middle School Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Later, she earned a MA in Counseling Psychology/School Counseling from Concordia University Chicago. She holds Illinois licenses as a Teacher, School Counselor, and as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a 9-12 School Counselor at Antioch Community High School, a private college consultant, and teaches a College Success Seminar course at the College of Lake County.
