The Floyd And Alice Curran Scholarship
Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation
The donor wishes to identify students who will pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university, technical or professional school of their choice. The scholarship is renewable for two years after successfully completing the freshman year of post high school education. The eligibility requirements are as follows:
•The applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school located in Hancock County.
•The applicant must have demonstrated good attendance while attending high school.
•The student must have demonstrated good moral character.
•The applicant must have maintained a high school GPA that indicates success at the post high school level.
•The applicant must be a resident of Hancock County.
•The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
•Financial need is one of the primary considerations and will be considered in the final selection based upon parental income and the number of family members already in post secondary education or those who will attend in the near future.
•Students who receive full scholarship support form other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
•Students who receive this scholarship and who may wish to renew the scholarship should forward grades to the Community Foundation office throughout the school year.
