Mexican American Dream Scholarship

Since 2008, COFEM and its affiliated federations, as well as sponsoring partners, have come together to provide scholarships to outstanding students . These scholarships have helped more than 400 students to complete their higher education.

In recent years, the program has set aside over $400,000 for students who are immigrants, sons and daughters of immigrants, and AB-540 or DACA students pursuing their dream of completing a higher education degree.

Each year in the fall, COFEM invites AB-540/DACA students, or students who are members of a COFEM-affiliated federation or club, to apply for its scholarships. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at a four-year accredited University or a two-year program at a Community College.
