Ernst R. Behrend Scholarship

Erie Community Foundation

This scholarship is for graduating seniors who attend high schools in Erie County, Pennsylvania. First preference is given to lineal descendents of former employees of Hammermill Paper Company or its corporate successor, International Paper Company, who reside in Erie County. Second preference is given to other graduating seniors in Erie County. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.3 GPA and an 1100 SAT score (1650 three-score equivalent). This scholarship is generally limited to students whose parents' combined income is below $80,000 per year.
