This scholarship was established in honor of Julius Bajet Soria, PhD who was an assistant professor at the Unviersity of Hawaii at Manoa. Dr. Soria inspired and empowered college and high school students to achieve their educational goals. The purpose of the scholarship is to support students of Filipino descent to purse higher education at an accredited college or university in the state of Hawaii.
