The University of the Southwest is a 4-year Christian university in southeast New Mexico. Southwest is home to colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business, and Education that offer 28 bachelor’s degree programs, including in Christian Studies. Student ministries play a big role at Southwest through weekly chapel and sponsored events such as Connecting Athletic Teams with Churches. The university further trains its student population in its philosophy of servant leadership through projects such as youth mentoring and roadside cleanup.
