Southwestern Assemblies of God University
GREATER WITH FAITH
At Nelson University (formerly SAGU), our faith doesn’t stop at the chapel door. We carry it with us wherever we go. Because God’s love is greater than a chapel, or a classroom, or a university can hold. And because of that, Nelson University is greater than a campus, a set of degree programs, or even a collection of students, staff, and professors.
It’s a channel of Christ’s love showing up in the Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex and across the world. Nelson University offers more than 70 undergrad and graduate degrees - helping students discover and develop their God-given callings in a Spirit-empowered, learning community. Small class sizes allow for hands-on training and individual attention to train individuals for leadership in ministry, business, education, and service. There are many opportunities to get involved with over 20 organizations and 7 intramural sports. For athletes, SAGU fields 11 men’s and women’s teams. Study abroad and mission trips occur throughout the year.
