Nevada State College
Established in 2002, Nevada State College is a public, 4-year institution located in the city of Henderson. The 511-acre, sustainable energy campus is home to over 50 major and minor programs in the fields of nursing, education, and the liberal arts and sciences. Students attending NSC can enroll in a number of internship programs, including the IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence program, in which students can be paid to learn how to be researchers. As of 2019, the college now offers its first master’s degree program, which is in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
