  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. What Students Are Saying

this university has very strong programs for specific majors such as theatre, art, music, nursing, communications, business, etc. there are two different campuses, twenty minutes apart via shuttle, and each offer completely different college experiences. the student community is very close and strong among campuses, majors, or even clubs.

Columbus State is a great school for those who don't want to get lost in the shuffle at larger campuses. I love the individual attention I get from my professors, and I feel they are interested in my success.
Chloe from Tyrone, GA
CSU has a cultural enrichment and campus environment. I applied to many schools and had the opportunity to visit them all but found that CSU has that home away from home feel that I was looking for.

Columbus State is a wonderful growing school in a growing community. It is really easy to be known around this campus and there are so many organizations to be involved with. The classes can be challenging but overall a wonderful college!
I thoroughly enjoyed going to Columbus State University and have had my share of the good and the bad that come with being a student there. It was extremely affordable for a state college and provided a very good environment for learning.
