Kate discovered her love for helping students navigate their college search while a student at Indiana University. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, she continued at IU for graduate school, completing her master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs. A practicum introduced her to the admissions world, and she was hooked. 

Kate worked in undergraduate and MBA admissions at Indiana University, where she traveled the world recruiting domestically and internationally (Argentina and India are her favorites). She also worked in undergraduate admissions at Butler University before serving as the Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid at Franklin College.  

Kate now has her own Independent Educational Consulting practice, where she works with students nationwide to help them find the perfect college. 

Originally from Staten Island, New York, Kate now lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two teenage sons. Kate empathizes with parents as she is in the midst of the college search with her own children.
